The Services Union in partnership with Basic Rights Queensland, invites union members and leaders to attend free training during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence 2020:

 

When Domestic and Family Violence Comes to Work

Union members are invited to attend a one-hour webinar about:

  • Domestic and family violence (DFV), including coercive control
  • DFV and the COVID-19 pandemic
  • How DFV intersects with the workplace
  • The impacts of DFV on employees and workplaces
  • Recognising DFV in the workplace
  • How to respond to those experiencing DFV in the workplace
  • Confidentiality
  • Existing workplace rights and entitlements, such as domestic and family violence leave
  • How to refer to specialist DFV support services
