International Youth Scholarship 2019

OVERVIEW
The ETU overseas scholarship will provide an ETU Member with the opportunity to broaden
their vocational horizons and improve their career prospects by working overseas. The
recipient will acquire international perspectives on the electrical industry by working
abroad.
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates will need to possess strong union values, excellent workmanship and a passion for the electrical trade. Candidates will need to be a financial member of the Branch for at least three years. Candidates will have completed their apprenticeship, been employed in the industry and ideally not attained their 30th birthday at the time of making the application.
THE SCHOLARSHIP
The International Youth scholarship is for the ETU to sponsor one rank and file members to

The successful candidate will be announced at the ETU’s State Biennial Conference in May 2019.
