ENERGEX members angry over parking fines for emergency response vehicles in BCC area

More than 60 ETU members from ENERGEX, Brisbane Central depots Voted up a resolution this morning calling on the ETU to write to BCC Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner demanding that Council follow the lead of Moreton Bay and Redlands Councils by providing exemptions from parking fines for ENERGEX vehicles parked in residential areas after hours required for emergency response.

The BCC position appears to be nothing but a cash grab via fines at the expense of essential service workers.
