Election

The Electrical Trades Union of Employees Queensland, (the ETU) Executive, will be making an application for exemption from election.  The Executive is making this application as the same persons who fill the position in the federal counterpart body, the Communications, Electrical, Electronic, Energy, Information, Postal, Plumbing and Allied Services Union of Australia (the CEPU), will fill the position in the state organisation, the ETU.The members of the ETU will not be detrimentally affected as eligible members will have already voted in or been given an opportunity to vote in the federal counterpart election.  Therefore there will be no election of the ETU. Members may file a notice of objection with the Industrial Registrar within 35 days from the publication of this notice.
