If you are sacked, you only have 21 days to file an application for unfair dismissal remedy.

If your employer alleges that you have done something wrong, they need to tell you what you have done wrong.

If they think what you have done wrong is so bad that they are thinking of sacking you, the employer should tell you this.

If the employer decides that they want to sack you, for whatever reason, they should allow you an opportunity to respond before they sack you.

The employer is not obliged to offer you a support person – you need to ask for one – the employer should not refuse to allow you to have one.

If your employer terminates your employment for any reason, they must give you written notice of the date of the termination (which cannot be before the day the notice is given).
